Description

The Poplars is a 17th-century timber-frame house, with the front faced in late 19th-century red brick and the rear plastered. It features a steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends and an off-centre brick chimney stack. The building has two storeys and an attic, with attic windows located in the gable ends. The 19th-century two-light casements have glazing bars. There is a fielded panel door situated in front of the chimney stack, along with a doorway to the right that is flanked by fluted pilasters. At the rear, there is a plastered wing that also has a black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends.
