Description

Ivy Cottage is a 17th century timber-framed house that is plastered. It features a steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends and a central brick chimney stack. The building has two storeys and an attic, with an attic window located in the end gable. The windows are 19th century casements and sashes with glazing bars. There is a 19th century wing on the northeast side, constructed of painted brick and topped with a pantile roof. This wing includes 3-light casements, a doorcase with a shouldered architrave, a rectangular fanlight, and a hood supported by brackets, along with a panelled door.
