Description
The Grange is a 17th-century timber-frame house situated on a moated site. The exterior is plastered, and it features a steep pantile roof with gabled ends. The house has two storeys and an attic, with an attic window located in the gable end. The windows are 18th or 19th-century casements with three lights. A 19th-century brick chimney stack is positioned on the south side. There is a mid-19th-century cross wing at the east end of the house, which is also plastered and has a lower pitched roof with gabled ends and shaped barge boards. This wing includes large sash windows with glazing bars. Additionally, there is a 19th-century porch at the angle of the building, which features a balustrade above it.
