Description
Simonds Farmhouse is a mid to late 19th century house constructed of red brick with yellow brick dressings. It features a pantile roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys high with three bays. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, and there is a central glazed door that is sheltered by a simple wooden porch. Brick chimney stacks are located at each end of the house. At the rear, there is a 17th century timber-frame wing that has been entirely encased in 19th century red brick. Inside the wing, there is a chamfered ceiling beam and joists.
