Description

Turnpike Farmhouse East is a 17th-century house that features a timber frame faced in red brick, which was added in the mid to late 19th century. The rear of the building is plastered. It has an off-centre brick chimney stack and a later, lower pitched pantile roof with gabled ends. The house is two storeys high and has modern aluminium frame casements. In front of the chimney stack, there is a 19th-century brick porch with a stepped gable.
