Poplar Farmhouse is a 17th-century house constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior. It features a steep pantile roof with gabled ends and has an off-centre brick chimney stack. The building has two storeys and includes three windows, which are a mix of 19th-century and modern casements. The entrance is marked by a modern glazed door.
