Description

Shrubbery Farmhouse is a red brick house dating from around 1700. It features a steep black glazed pantile roof with stepped gabled ends and a string course at floor level. The building is two storeys high and has four widely spaced windows, which are 19th-century, two-light casements with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a 19th-century canted bay window also with glazing bars. The farmhouse has a brick chimney stack at the east end and another near the west end, along with segmental-headed windows in the gable ends. At the rear, there is a late 19th-century red brick wing that has stepped gables to match the original structure.
