Description

Pennybrick Hall is an early 19th-century house, now a residential home for the elderly. It is constructed of brick with a roof of black glazed pantiles. The house is two storeys high and arranged in three bays. The central entrance features a glazed panel door within a timber frame, topped by small consoles and a hood. Sash windows with glazing bars are set within painted gauged skewback arches. A console eaves cornice runs along the top of the exterior. The roof is hipped, with chimney stacks on the rear slope.

Inside, a good open string staircase has two column balusters with bobbin bases to each tread. A ramped and wreathed handrail extends to a balcony on the first floor.
