No. 20 Fairland Street is a shop with a flat above, dating from the 18th century. It is likely timber-framed and has brick cladding. The building features a gabled roof covered with black-glazed pantiles and stands two storeys tall. The ground floor has a 20th-century glazed shop front on the left side, while the right side has one sash window with glazing bars. On the first floor, there are two sash windows. There is an internal gable-end stack on the west side, and the east gable wall is tarred. The interior has not been inspected.
