Description

Nos. 9 and 10 Market Place are a pair of shops built in the early 17th century, likely around 1616. The structure is timber-framed and features a roof made of black glazed pantiles. It has two storeys and a dormer attic. The shop fronts were updated in the 20th century. The first floor is rendered and colourwashed, with four early 19th-century two-light casement windows providing light. The gabled roof has two tall dormers on the right side and a small flat-topped dormer on the left. There is a ridge stack located to the left of centre.
