Description

No. 7 Mayfair is a house dating from around 1760, which was refaced in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a roof made of black glazed pantiles. The building has two storeys and an attic, arranged in three bays. The central door is glazed and set within a timber doorcase that includes reeded engaged columns and a block architrave with dentilation. On the ground floor, there are two hornless sash windows with margin glazing, and on the first floor, there are three sash windows with horns, all featuring rendered and painted gauged skewback arches. The eaves cornice is supported by paired brackets beneath the gabled roof, and there is a south internal gable-end stack.
