Forge Cottage is an early 18th-century house, originally two properties. It is timber-framed and has a whitewashed exterior with a thatched roof. The building is single-storey with a dormer attic. The ground floor has two 20th-century casement windows, and there are signs of a former doorway that has now been blocked. The roof is gabled and features two eyebrow dormers. A central ridge stack is present.
