Description

Waterside House is an early 18th-century house in London Colney. It is timber-framed, with the ground floor plastered and the upper floor featuring exposed framing and painted brick infill. The roof is steeply pitched, covered in plain tiles, and includes three box dormers. The house is two storeys and has attics. There are three 19th and 20th-century casement windows. The central door has four fielded panels and three glazed panels. The upper framing has regularly spaced studs with long diagonal braces. First-floor casements have thin moulded frames and small bracketed hoods. End walls feature floor bands and parapeted gables. Internal chimney stacks are present at each end.
