Description
The Old Hall is a house dating from the early 18th century, which was raised and altered in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features roofs made of black glazed pantiles. The south front has two storeys and a dormer attic, arranged in five bays. A panelled door set in a reeded case is located behind a 19th-century porch. The windows are horned sashes with glazing bars, positioned beneath gauged skewback arches. The building has a triple dentiled eaves cornice beneath a bell-based gabled roof, with a gabled dormer and a ridge stack at the centre. There is an early 18th-century stepped external stack on the west gable. At the rear, there are two-storey hipped extensions from the 19th century, along with an 18th-century gabled cross wing to the north.
