Description

This outbuilding, located approximately 30 metres northwest of Washingford House, was originally used as stables and a store. It dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century and is constructed of red brick with a hipped pantile roof. The building features a symmetrical design, with a taller square central block topped by a pyramidal roof. There are lower hipped side wings that have lean-to extensions on the south side. A notable detail is the dentil brick eaves course. The outbuilding has large double door openings on both the north and south sides. It is included for its group value with Washingford House.
