Description

Probably dating from the 18th century, 20-22 Bentley Road are a pair of timber-frame cottages, with roughcast rendering. They have pantile roofing with gabled ends. The cottages are two storeys high with three windows. The windows are largely C19 casements. The original doorway of number 20 has been replaced with a window. Number 22 retains a plank door, though it now has a modern porch. A brick chimney stack is located off-centre. A lean-to extension is present at the rear. The cottages are included in the listing primarily for their group value.
