Oak Cottage is a 17th century timber-frame cottage located on Cheney's Lane in Tacolneston. The building is plastered and features a thatched roof with gabled ends. It has an off-centre rendered brick chimney stack and consists of one storey with an attic, which includes attic windows in the gable ends. The cottage has modern casement windows with leaded panes.
