Chestnut View is a 17th century timber-frame cottage that is plastered. It features a thatched roof with half-hipped ends and has a brick chimney stack located near the east end. The cottage is two storeys high and has three windows, which include 19th century and modern casements. There is also a modern glazed door and porch.
