The building features a long, plastered timber-frame structure topped with a continuous pantile roof that has gabled ends. It stands two storeys high and includes three widely spaced small sash windows. The cottage has two panelled and glazed doors, each with modern gabled hoods, and a central brick chimney stack. To the right, there is a barn door with a loft door above it. At the right end, stable doors are present, along with a weatherboarded loft above and a lower pantile roof.
