Description

Maltings Farmhouse is a timber-framed house from the 17th century, which has been plastered and faced with red brick in the 19th century. It features a steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends. The building has a long two-storey range with four widely spaced sash windows that have glazing bars and segmental heads with keyblocks. There is a brick string course and pilasters. The central entrance consists of a glazed and panelled door. To the left, there is an early 19th-century double shop front with bow multipane windows and a central glazed door. An off-centre brick chimney stack is located at one end, and there is a brick lean-to at the rear.
