Description
Whitehouse Farmhouse, dating from the 17th century, has been encased in 19th-century red brick. It features a steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends and has two brick chimney stacks, one off centre and another at the west end. The building is two storeys high and has three widely spaced 19th-century, 3-light casement windows. To the left, there is a modern brick porch.
Adjoining the farmhouse to the south-west is an outbuilding, likely a cottage from the early 18th century. This structure is also made of red brick and has a steel pantile roof with gabled ends. The south end has a tumbled gable, while the north end features a plastered timber-frame gable. Inside, the outbuilding has chamfered beams with carved stops.
