Description

This is a pair of houses located at 8 and 10 Cock Street in Wymondham, dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the early 19th and 20th centuries. The houses are constructed of brick and have a pantiled roof, which was previously thatched. They are two storeys high and feature two central doors from the 20th century. House number 8 is illuminated by a segmental casement window on the ground floor to the right of the door, and a three-light casement window from the 19th century on the first floor. House number 10 has late 20th-century windows. The gabled roof is topped with a cornice that has dentil detailing, and there are internal gable-end stacks, with the one on the south side located on the rear roof slope.
