Description

4 and 6 Cock Street are a pair of houses built in the late 17th century. They are constructed of brick, with No 4 being colourwashed, and feature a pantiled roof. The houses are one storey high with a dormer attic and have a roughly symmetrical layout. Each house has a 20th-century door on either side of the elevation, separated by two 20th-century windows, with all openings set under segmental arches. The steep gabled roof includes two sloping 20th-century dormers and has a central ridge stack. The south gable wall of No 4 was rebuilt in the late 20th century using brick. Inside, there are winders by the stack.
