Description

No. 121 Gissing Road is a 17th-century timber-framed house that has been divided into two sections and encased in brick in the 20th century. It features a steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends and a central brick chimney stack with grouped lozenge-shaped shafts. The house has two storeys and two widely spaced windows with modern casements, as well as two modern plank doors. At the rear, there is a two-storey lean-to addition from the 19th century. Inside, the property has stopped and chamfered ceiling beams and wide joists.
