Description
Kite House is a cottage likely dating from the 18th century, substantially altered in the early 19th century in a Gothic style. It is constructed with a flint plinth and plastered walls with yellow brick dressings. The roof is thatched and has gabled ends. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, featuring windows in the gable ends. There are two pointed arch, two-light casements with pointed arch lights. A central pointed arch doorway leads to a plank door. A similar attic window is found in the south gable end. A round yellow brick chimney stack is situated at the north end. A lean-to has been added to the north end at a later date. Inside, there is a chamfered ceiling beam.
