Description

Crown Farmhouse is a 17th century timber-frame house that has been faced in brick during the late 19th century. It features a steep pantile roof with gabled ends and an off-centre brick chimney stack. The building has two storeys and an attic, with attic windows located in the end gables. There are two widely spaced late 19th century, three-light sash windows that do not have glazing bars and are adorned with dripmoulds. The front of the house has an off-centre panelled door located in front of the chimney stack, which is topped with a cornice on console brackets. To the right (north-east) of the main structure, there is a projecting late 19th century brick wing that also has a pantile roof and sash windows.
