Description

Grove Cottage is a timber-frame house dating from the 17th century or earlier. It is largely plastered with a thatched roof featuring gabled ends. A brick chimney stack is positioned off-centre. The house has two storeys and an attic, with windows set into the gable ends of the roof. There are three windows spaced widely apart. These are small, modern 2-light casements with leaded panes. A modern thatched porch has been added to the front.
