Description
Blackfriar's Bridge is a bridge built in 1784 by Sir John Soane. It is constructed from Portland stone and features iron balustrades. The bridge has a single span with rusticated voussoirs and is flanked by coved niches. The balustrades include lattice panels and have pedimented sections at each end. On the Ordnance Survey Map, it is referred to as St. George's Bridge.
