Description
37 St Andrew's Street is a former house that has been converted into an office. It dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. The building has three storeys and four bays. The shopfront features a door on the right side, flanked by two Corinthian pilasters that separate the window from panelled pilasters. These pilasters are topped with ornate consoles that support a hood. The building has sash windows throughout, which are adorned with rubbed brick flat arches and glazing bars on the first floor. There is a stringcourse at the cill level of the first floor, and an acanthus bracket cornice. Inside, there is fine plasterwork on the ground-floor ceiling, along with panelled rooms and a staircase.
