Description
The Red Lion Public House is a former pair of houses that has been converted into a public house. It dates from the early 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 20th centuries. The ground floor is constructed from flint rubble, while the rear and side walls are rendered and feature a pseudo timber framing style. The building has pantile roofs and is two storeys high on the left side, which jetties at the first floor, and three storeys on the right side. There are three first-floor windows, a plain central door, and a corner pub-front on the right side that includes a corner door. Casement windows are present throughout the structure, along with a dormer gable and a gable end that has raised eaves level between.
