Description

The Statue of the Duke of Wellington is a statue constructed between 1853 and 1854, created by the sculptor George Gammon Adams. This life-size bronze statue depicts the Duke in civilian dress, with a cannon resting at his feet. It stands on a granite plinth that features the name "Wellington" inscribed on it, along with a coat of arms, and is positioned on a pedestal.
