Description

This terrace comprises four early 19th-century houses, numbered 37 to 43, located on the north-east side of Bracondale. The houses are constructed of yellow brick, with some areas painted, and have a slate roof. Four brick chimneys are visible. The symmetrical terrace is two stories high and features 18 first-floor windows. Each house has a panelled front door with a fanlight, the fanlights incorporating intersecting glazing bars, with the exception of No. 37, which has a plain fanlight. Large-paned sash windows alternate with the doors. No. 37 also incorporates French windows and the first-floor sashes have glazing bars. A box cornice runs along the roofline. A wrought-iron verandah with a part-glazed roof extends along the front.
