Description

No. 72 on Eleanor Road is a former tower windmill dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of painted brick with a rendered plinth and features a conical lead roof. The building has eight storeys and is accessed on the first floor via a 20th-century external stair. There are two 20th-century balconies and pivoted windows with glazing bars. The windmill no longer has any sails.
