Description

A pair of houses dating from the early 19th century, with alterations made in the later 19th century. The houses are constructed of red brick, with a rendered plinth to number 23, and have a hipped slate roof and two brick gable chimneys. They extend to two storeys and a cellar, with four windows on the first floor. The central pair of four-panelled doors are set within recessed round-headed arches constructed of gauged brick, each with a plain fanlight above. Number 22 has 16-pane sashes, set beneath flat gauged brick arches. Number 23 has a later two-storey canted bay window on the right-hand side, featuring large-paned sashes. A box cornice runs along the top of the facade.
