Description

No. 237 on King Street is a former spinning mill, now a flour mill, built in 1854. The building is constructed of red brick with a pantile roof and features a long block that runs at right angles to the street. The street-facing elevation has three storeys and three bays. Each floor has central loading doors, with casement windows on either side, all set within recessed panels that have rubbed brick semi-circular arches. The gable is topped with stone coping and includes an opening.
