Description

A former yarn mill, later used as a flour mill, was constructed between 1836 and 1837. The building is a long block set at a right angle to the street, featuring a 20th-century mansard roof. The street-facing elevation is five stories high, with three bays plus a two-story office wing to the left. Loading doors are present on all floors except the ground floor, recessed in pairs beneath semi-elliptical arches. Case- ment windows are found throughout, with those on the ground and first floors also recessed beneath semi-elliptical arches. The building has projecting end pilasters and a flat string course between the first and second floors. A gable with stone coping tops the structure.
