Description

A pair of early 19th-century houses forming part of a terrace on the north-west side of St Stephen's Square. The houses are constructed of red brick with a rendered plinth, and have a slate roof and two brick chimneys. They are two storeys high with four windows on the first floor. Each house has a six-panelled door with an overlight containing lattice glazing bars, set within panelled reveals. Number 33 has fluted pilasters. The windows are largely 20th-century replacements, although one first-floor window in number 33 retains its original glazing bars. All windows are set beneath cambered brick arches.
