Description

No. 29 on St. Giles Street is a former building of unknown use, now functioning as a shop. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. The building has three storeys and features five bays. The shopfront, which is from the 20th century, has off-centre and right-hand doors, with a yard entry located at the extreme left. Throughout the building, there are sash windows that include glazing bars and are topped with rubbed brick flat arches. A moulded eaves cornice adds to the architectural detail. This property is included for its group value with Nos. 31 and 33.
