Description
No. 36 St. Giles Street is a former house that now serves as a Conservative Club. It was built in the early 18th century, with a rear addition from the mid-18th century and extensions added in the 20th century. The building is constructed of rendered brick and has a pantile roof. It stands three storeys high and features five bays. The central entrance door is accessed by five steps and is flanked by attached Tuscan columns that support a pediment adorned with a triglyph frieze. The building has sash windows throughout, each framed with eared and haunched surrounds that include keystones. A bracket cornice runs along the top of the building.
