Description

No. 37 on St. Giles Street is a former shop building from the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof. The building stands three storeys high and has five bays. The shopfront includes a central 18th-century door that has a moulded surround and a flat hood supported by consoles. Throughout the building, there are sash windows with glazing bars and rubbed brick flat arches. Notable decorative elements include long ornamental tie-iron ends positioned between the first and second floors, as well as a bracket cornice.
