Description

The rear of Number 31 is a former house that has been converted into a warehouse. It dates back to the 16th century and was raised by one storey, with alterations made in the 18th century, including the addition of casement windows and a door. The building is constructed from rendered flint and brick rubble, with the second floor featuring a rendered timber frame. It has a pantile roof and stands three storeys tall with six bays. The structure is positioned at right angles to the street and set back from the street line. The east facade has casement windows throughout and includes a side entrance with a simple surround. The roof is hipped, and the interior features ceiling beams with simple stops and a large, off-centre stack.
