Description
No. 28 St. Giles Street is a former house now used as offices, built in the late 18th century. The building is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof, along with a semi-basement. It has five bays, with a central door flanked by attached fluted and banded columns that support an open pediment. Above the door is a semi-circular fanlight with radial glazing bars. The building has sash windows throughout, which include glazing bars and are topped with rubbed brick flat arches. A small paired console cornice adorns the top of the structure, which has a two-span roof. Inside, there is a fine staircase featuring carved riser brackets.
