Description

These offices, located at 50 and 52 Bethel Street, date from the early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick with wide rendered bands at ground floor level. The roof is not visible. The building is three storeys high with a semi-basement. It has five bays. The main entrances are on the left and right, featuring rusticated pilasters, a plain architrave, and a flat hood. A central yard entrance is distinguished by double-order cubbed brick and a semi-circular arch. Sash windows are present throughout, with rubbed brick flat arches above. Most windows retain their original glazing bars, with the exception of the bottom sash on the ground floor to the left. A paired bracket cornice runs along the top of the building. A parish boundary plate dated 1827 is also present.
