Description
49 Bethel Street is a Grade II listed terraced house built in 1807, located on a corner site. It is constructed of red brick with a pantile roof and features three storeys with six bays plus a corner bay, including three bays on Bethel Street. Each entrance door is flanked by windows and has a surround made up of reeded and rounded pilasters, an architrave, and a small hood, although the door surrounds for Nos. 1 and 2 are damaged. The corner ground floor window is adorned with a pilaster and architrave surround. There are also one bay of blind windows on each side of the corner bays. The building has sash windows throughout, which include glazing bars and rubbed brick flat arches, though all ground floor windows are currently boarded up. A paired bracket cornice is present, and the roof is hipped at the corner.
