Description

This is a row of shops with flats above, dating to the 18th century, with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. A 17th-century block stands at the rear of number 88. The front is pebble-dashed, with a pantile roof. The building is three storeys high and has five widely spaced first-floor windows. Two central entrances are surrounded by simple panelling and an architrave, with a shopfront to the left containing a glazed door. A yard entry is located at the extreme left, and a carport is positioned to the right of centre. A 20th-century shopfront is at the extreme right. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, with six windows visible on the first floor. A bracketed cornice runs along the top. At the rear is a 17th-century block that was heightened and extended in the 18th century, featuring three first-floor windows.
