Description

Nos. 9 to 12 on Ice House Lane is a terrace of three houses and a wash house, built in the early 19th century. The buildings are constructed of red brick and feature a hipped pantile roof with three brick ridge chimneys. They are two storeys high and have six first-floor windows. The central unit is slightly recessed and has a panelled door set in a fluted doorcase, which includes corner roundels on the right side; a similar doorcase is found at the left end. The windows are 16-pane sashes in flush-fronted wooden frames, positioned under cambered gauged brick arches, with smaller windows in the central unit. There are 20th-century lean-to wooden extensions at the front.
