Description
St. Catherine's Close is a former house, now used as offices, built in 1780 by Thomas Ivory. The building is constructed of red brick and features a black pantile roof. It has two storeys and five bays, with a central semi-circular portico supported by four columns and round arches. The sash windows have glazing bars and are topped with rubbed brick flat arches, while the ground floor windows are set in round-arched recesses. The building also has a bracket cornice and a hipped roof. Inside, there is a notable staircase with a curved well.
