Description

Paradise Row is a terrace of twelve houses built in the early 19th century. It is located off City Road, and was originally listed under that name. The houses are constructed of red brick with a hipped pantile roof and twelve brick ridge chimneys. They are two storeys high, with twelve first-floor windows. The doors, mostly 20th-century replacements, alternate with glazing bar sash windows, some of which have been replaced, all set beneath cambered brick arches. A central round-headed passage arch is topped with a tablet inscribed "Paradise/Row/City Road."
