Description
67A, 69, and 71 Staithe Street are early 18th-century buildings that stand three stories tall. They feature two flush frame sash windows, which now only have central glazing bars, and are constructed of red brick with a moulded brick eaves cornice. The roof is covered with pantiles. The late 19th-century wooden casing surrounds a recessed shop front with a central entrance. The two-story window wing at No 67A is also made of red brick and has central glazing bars, with glazing bars still visible at the rear and a first-floor band. Inside, there is a gently rising staircase with a close string, turned balusters, and a panelled respond, along with a panelled room on the first floor. No 71 has a private house entrance featuring a six-panel door with panelled reveals and a wooden casing. These buildings, along with Nos 27 to 73, form a group.
