Description
No 74 Staithe Street is a building from 1793 located on the east side of Staithe Street. It features 17th-century alterations and is constructed of stucco that is lined and painted. The building has a pantile roof with a gabled casement dormer and a 2-light flush-frame sash window on the first floor, which includes glazing bars. The late 19th-century shop front is somewhat recessed and has a wooden case. At the rear, there is a brick and flint tumbled gable. This property is part of a group that includes Moyshiel Restaurant, No 44, Nos 48 to 54 (even), and Nos 60 to 78 (even) along with the courtyard.
